We are overjoyed to announce that our hygienist Megan and Dr. Tran got hitched! It’s been a long time coming, and the couple graciously included the entire LBD staff in their beautiful wedding day.
Their nuptials kicked off with a gorgeous ceremony at St. Charles Borromeo Catholic Church. Dr. Tran came down the aisle with his usual exuberance. He was all smiles as he took his place at the altar to wait for his beautiful bride. Megan was exquisite in her white gown with a long train and full-length veil. Unlike her groom, however, Megan is not a fan of the spotlight and she was a little nervous taking her long walk. She was glad, however, to have her father on her arm to help her down the aisle.
But seeing Huy waiting for her was definitely a moment that stands out in her mind as a highlight from the day. The couple were joined at the altar by several of their closest friends and family members, including Huy’s best college buddy, Curtis as best man, and Megan’s sister, Emily, as matron of honor. Of course, the best part of their wedding party was Megan’s adorable niece, Claire, as the flower girl.
After the ceremony, the guests made their way to the Hyatt Regency for a spectacular reception. The room was breathtaking, and the smell of fresh flowers filled the air. After the wedding party made their entrances, Huy and Megan shared their first dance as husband and wife, and we could all tell how happy they were to finally be married.
Then, it was feast time. The food was a seemingly endless array of Vietnamese dishes. Every dish was more amazing than the last. The way Leslie tells it, she was full for about three days afterward! After cutting the cake, it was time to toss the bouquet.
Megan’s bouquet was truly unique. It flew apart in the air, and each flower had a fortune attached to it. What a great way to share the joy and good fortune of this amazing couple on their wedding day.
All of us at LBD are so happy for Dr. Tran and Megan, and we are truly grateful that we all got to attend this beautiful event to celebrate a truly lovely couple. Next time you’re in the office, be sure to wish them well on what will surely be a long and happy marriage!
